Pakistan squad for Asia Cup 2023 & Afganistan series 



We all know that the 50-over World Cup, which comes once in 4 years, is going to start from October 5, which is to be played in India this time, and preparations are being made in full swing to prepare for the World Cup. Looking at this, this time the Asia Cup will be played in 50 and ie ODI format so that the preparations for the World Cup can be completed.

We all know that Asia Cup is held after every 2 years but it is not organized in India and Pakistan from many years but this time the special thing is that this time some matches will be held in Pakistan and the rest of the tournament will be held in Sri Lanka.

All the teams are busy preparing for the World Cup and Asia Cup is a great opportunity for the Asian teams to strengthen their preparation and identify their weaknesses so that they can reduce them effectively.

It is almost possible that Pakistan and India will have two matches in the Asia Cup, the first match will be played on 2 October.

The squad that Pakistan has prepared for the Asia Cup and Afghanistan series, the left handed batter shan masood and young fast and PSL hero Ishanullah has don't added and selectors not select them. And on the other hand, all-rounder Faheem Ashraf, who has been out of the team for almost two years, has returned to the ODI team.

Talking about openers, Abdullah Shafiq Fakhar Zaman and Imam ul Haq have been selected as openers for the series and Asia Cup. In the  middle order, Captain Babar Azam, Salman Ali Agha, Tayyab Tahir and Saud Shakeel have got place. 

Mohammad Rizwan will once again be seen playing the role of wicketkeeper and Mohammad Haris has been selected as his backup. If we look at the all-rounders, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz are great spin bowling all-rounder options who can turn the match around at any time and win the match, and a new name Osama Mir has also been added to them, who is the best spin bowling all-rounder and Faheem Ashraf, who is returning to the national team after 2 years, is also a fast bowling all-rounder. 

And lastly comes the most important and Pakistan's always strong fast bowling which is already tremendous and praiseworthy. Shaheen Afridi will lead the fast bowling in the Pakistani team and he will be supported by young fast bowlers Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf and Mohammad Wasim Junior
