Asia Cup 2023 : India Reject the PCB hybrid model and Sri Lanka offers to hosts the tournament

 Asia Cup 2023 starting on 31 august 2023 and will end on 17th september 2023.

The officials has already decided on the format of Asia Cup 2023 & it will be played on the basis of 50 over ODI format.

This time 6 asian teams will participate in this asia cup 2023.

This season will be the 16th edition of asia cup.In all these 15 edition the india won maximum 7 times this tournament. 

But now a days all eyes on the hosting of asia cup and this matter is very serious and amazing because india and pakistan cricket board are take opposite stand and face to face on the asia cup hosts matter.

And now a new twist comes in the race of hosting Asia Cup 2023.Sri Lanka entered the race of host asia cup 2023 tournament. 

This is a huge blow to pakistan cricket board. Where , the PCB show their hybrid model to Asian Cricket Council (ACC) but the BCCI reject the PCB hybrid model. 

In that proposal , PCB suggest that while four matches take place in pakistan (not india matches) , and after that all the remaining matches shifted on the other venue .

But the BCCI and Sri Lankan cricket board revealed that they're ready to host the entire asia cup 2023.
